Expensive bikes stolen from David Malcolm Justice Centre

BOYS stole five expensive bicycles collectively worth as much as $20,000.

The bikes were taken from supposedly secure areas at the David Malcolm Justice Centre housing offices for lawyers, judges and top WA politicians in Barrack Street, Perth about noon on February 2.

“The offenders went under a barrier and into two secure areas in the underground car park,” Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said.

The centre has offices for the WA Supreme Court, the State Government’s attorney-general and treasurer and a civil courthouse, but Sgt Davis said it was not known if any are among the victims.

Each of the bicycles was valued between $1000 to $5000.

CCTV showed dark-skinned boys aged 15-17, with one wearing a white cap, a black T-shirt with a white symbol and a neck chain, black shorts, white socks and black shoes.

His accomplice had a black hat and what appeared to be a black sleeveless T-shirt over another T-shirt coloured black and white, beige skinny jeans or trousers and black shoes.
