“Given the recent events in Nepal, it’s imperative we all step up and help where and how we can,” Mrs Grewal said.

Indian chefs from the 10-year-old restaurant have been providing their sweet and savoury delicacies for the fundraiser for the past few years.

This year, offerings will include tandoori items, Afghan chicken and mini samosas, along with bite-sized sweets.

“We’ll be providing street food you could get when you walk down the street in Delhi,” Mrs Grewal said.
