Former WA Trustees employees enjoy catch up

FORMER WA Trustees employees gathered at their old workplace, which is now the Trustee Bar and Bistro, last month.

The 16 former colleagues gathered in what was once the filing and correspondence room.

Former chief executive Lindsay Richardson said most people had started their careers in that room.

“Having lunch in that room was a real highlight of the day,” Mr Richardson, who started as an office boy in 1950 and finished as chief executive in 1990, said.

Patricia Foord (nee McNamara) worked at the WA Trustees from 1954-66.

She said many of them were still in contact and met up every year but it was the first time at their former workplace.
