“Henry was six days late; he was supposed to be born on December 27 but he was told he had to come out because mummy had had enough,” she said.

Ms Mawson said her family lent a hand during the busy Christmas period, in which the family also moved house in Floreat.

“I had a really supportive family and we just moved on December 8,” she said.

“For the couple of weeks before Christmas it was just madly unpacking as many boxes as I could then we hit Christmas Day and my mother in law was a saint and my sister-in-law came over and took over.”
