MT HAWTHORN Primary School students have shown their generosity by collecting items to brighten Christmas for needy Perth families.
The second Hawaiian Giving Box campaign ran from November 20 to December 1.
Big gold boxes were placed in shopping centres, office buildings and 16 primary schools so people could donate items such as canned vegetables, fruit and fish, dry goods, new toys, disposable nappies, and new clothes and books.
