Heritage property grants available from the City of Perth

Caitlin TillerEastern Reporter

Owners of properties listed on the City’s Cultural Heritage Register or the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s heritage inventory can apply for a share in $400,000 of funding.

The City will financially support successful applicants with heritage fabric reconstruction and restoration, facade works, conservation management plans and removal of non-structural intrusive elements.

Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi said heritage buildings gave a fantastic opportunity to preserve the identity and unique sense of place in Perth.
