POLICE have charged a man with sexual assault after he allegedly raped a woman he met on a social media dating platform.
The 38-year-old man faced Perth court accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a woman he met on a dating app.
Police say Christopher John Peter Lovgren met the victim on a social media dating platform in 2017.
As she walked into his home on a night in May last year, he grabbed her and attacked her, police said.

He faced court on Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on June 19.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and have urged anyone with information to make contact.
