A vigil will be held for the comedian at Princes Park, where her body was found, tonight in Melbourne and Perth organisers will hold a sister event at Hyde Park this evening from 5.30pm.

People are urged to gather near the stage area, with the candlelight vigil to commence at dusk.

“The event will be going ahead regardless of weather but its looking to be in our favour rain wise, it’s going to be cold though,” organiser Evangeline Tower Douglas wrote on Facebook.

“The organisers have some candles but if you have some, please bring them.

“We aim to leave the park how we found it. Anything other than flowers should be taken with us.”
