Imagine Vincent: City of Vincent set to launch biggest ever community engagement campaign

CITY of Vincent’s biggest community engagement campaign to date will be launched on June 8.

Residents will get the chance to help shape the future of the City as part of the Imagine Vincent campaign.

Feedback from the community will be used to inform and develop the City’s Strategic Community Plan 2018-2028, which will set the long-term direction and focus for council’s planning, budget and resource allocation process.

The plan will be developed throughout six months from June until September, with further feedback sought form random members of the community within the final months of the consultation period.

A draft will be developed in October and finalised in November, with the aim of adopting it in December.

Mayor Emma Cole said it would be the largest level of community engagement in Vincent history.

A community workshop will be held on Thursday, June 8 from 12.30pm to 5.30m and a launch will follow from 6pm to 7.30pm at North Perth Town Hall on View Street.
