Residents evacuated after Inglewood Bunnings catches fire during night markets

FIRE crews are fighting an out of control fire at Bunnings Warehouse in Inglewood, which is threatening nearby homes and businesses.

Residents on Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue are being evacuated due to potentially dangerous smoke and fumes from the fire.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services have set up an evacuation centre at the Inglewood Autumn Centre at the Inglewood Civic Centre.

The fire started at around 9pm during the Inglewood Night Markets and quickly engulfed the warehouse, with more than 100 fire fighters  at the scene fighting the blaze.
