Inglewood on Beaufort Fashion Show to strut its stuff at markets once again

Julian WrightEastern Reporter

FASHION is making its return to the Inglewood on Beaufort Markets on January 22.

After a successful debut last year, CoCo Kingdom’s Melanie Andrew and make-up artist Billee Eames are bringing back the Inglewood on Beaufort Fashion Show.

Ms Eames said they intended to keep a fashion flavour each year at the food-focused markets.

“This is the second time we will hold a fashion parade; it was so successful last year because it brought a different aspect.

“We like the combination of fun, food and fashion.”

She said this year’s theme was Summer in Perth. “We will have five models in four shows, each with different looks with a summer theme and a 1970s influence.”

When launching the first fashion show last year, Ms Eames said the aim was to breathe more life into the Inglewood end of Beaufort Street.

She said the Mt Lawley end was always “pumping”.

This year’s fashion show will be held at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Beaufort Street on Monday, January 22, at 7pm.
