MOUNT Lawley dogs can put their best paw forward at this month’s Dogtober-themed Beaufort Street Artisan Market.

Visitors can have photos taken with their favourite pooches, pick up doggie treats, get their dog washed and enter the dog show, hosted by City of Vincent Mayor John Carey.

Beaufort Street Network chair Pam Herron will be down with her pet and said it was one of the biggest events on Beaufort Street.

“There will be four big prizes – most talented dog, funniest costume, biggest dog and smallest dog; it’s going to be a lot of fun,” she said.
