K-Mart issues recall over dangerous toaster

Staff WriterEastern Reporter

K-MART has issued a recall over a dangerous toaster.

The toaster, a Home & Co two-slice stainless steel model TL-136, could have a faulty switch, causing the heating element to remain live – even when the lever is up and the toaster remains off.

There is a risk of electric shock if the user makes contact with the heating element.
