Kings Park Festival a blooming good time

Denise S. CahillEastern Reporter

Played by Evie Parks (18) this year, the Adorable Florable and her friends will be part of several events this month, including the Fantastic Faraway festival on September 12 in the Lotterywest Family Area.

Ms Parks, who has worked for the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) for about nine months, said the Silver Princess was iconic West Australian flora, very sweet, loved herself and thinks everyone else loves her too.

"Im looking forward to being able to showcase the flora and fauna, seeing the wildflowers and listening to the live music," she said.
