The 11-year-old from Mt Lawley is completing stage 12 of the State Government’s VacSwim program at the Beatty Park Leisure Centre over the summer school holiday.

‘My favourite thing is probably going in the water with clothes on because it’s quite difficult so it gives me a challenge,’ Jordan said.

‘We get tired quite easily but it’s pretty fun.’

Jordan said he also enjoyed playing golf, cricket, football and teeball and wanted to be an athlete when he grew up.

VacSwim is the largest vacation-swimming program in Australia and runs at 200 metropolitan and country venues in WA for children aged five to 18.
