Jessica WarrinerEastern Reporter

KEEP an eye out at the corner of Vincent and Loftus Streets – Ken Sealey’s Beseech sculpture has been given a summer makeover.

The blue head has turned yellow to celebrate the launch of the City of Vincent’s free outdoor events season.

“We reached out to Ken Sealey and he gave us his support to re-imagine his artwork with a lick of bright yellow paint during our events season,” Mayor Emma Cole said.

“Night or day, the Big Yellow Head will be either shining in the sun or glowing in the dark.”

There are more than 50 events for locals to take part in across Leederville, North Perth, Mt Lawley, West Perth, Northbridge and Mt Hawthorn.

Mayor Cole said there was a diverse offering of activities to entertain both kids and adults and make the most of the City’s parks and meeting places.

December’s events include Carols by Candlelight, a screening of family classic A Muppet Christmas Carol in Hyde park, skateboard clinics and more.
