A HANDGUN allegedly modified from a stater’s pistol was found on a man when he was pulled over by police on Bourke Street in Leederville about 3am on Tuesday.
“It will be alleged police located the firearm, ammunition and drugs comprising cannabis and dexamphetamine,” Sergeant Paul Vojkovich said.
A search of the man’s car found ammunition including 7.65mm, .22mm and 9mm rounds.
The man was charged with unlicensed possession of a firearm and ammunition and possession of drugs.
