A MAN (37) has been slapped with three charges of indecent assault after allegedly slapping the bottoms of three women in Perth and on the Midland train on September 19.

Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said it would be alleged the man entered a make-up shop in the NX100 mall in the Perth CBD, between Hay Street and St Georges Terrace, and walked past a female assistant about 12.15pm that day.

“He leant forward and indecently assaulted the victim by using his right hand to slap the victim on the buttock,” Sgt Davis said.

The man left after he and the women had a brief conversation.

The man then allegedly slapped the buttocks of a woman who was travelling on a train to Midland near the Claisebrook station about 5.51pm.

Sgt Davis said it would be alleged the man conducted the assault as he leant on a passenger pole in the train’s carriage.

“The victim turned around and said ‘that’s not appropriate’,” Sgt Davis said.

It is alleged a third woman had her bottom slapped by the man as she left a Midland-bound train at the Maylands train station about 5.58pm.

The man will be summonsed to appear at Perth Magistrates Court on October 12.
