A MAN was carjacked at knife point by robbers who fled the scene only to crash into a pole.

Police said the victim was parked at the side of the road when a man opened the driver’s door and threatened him with a knife.

A knife was held against his neck while the thief demanded his mobile phone and wallet.

The driver was punched in the face and dragged out of the car before the thief and an accomplice fled the scene in the blue Toyota Yaris.
