AN East Perth man (22) has been charged with possession of drugs, weapons, illicit cash and stolen property after police raided a Hay Street apartment for the second time in three months yesterday.
“The raid was the result of information from the public and observation of alleged ongoing drug dealing at the unit that had previously been targeted for the supply and sale of drugs and stolen property,” Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said.
It will be alleged the man had 10g of methamphetamine, 2g of heroin, $18,000 cash, a large amount of prescription medication, and about 50 stolen mobile phones, computers and tablets.
He was charged with possession of drugs to sell or supply and unlawful possession of stolen property.
He was bailed on $10,000 to reappear in court at a later date.
However, it was not the first time the man’s unit was raided and its occupant charged.
On December 19 last year, police also forcibly entered the property.
It will be alleged 47g of methamphetamine, another 50 items of stolen property, weapons and $2000 cash were at the property.
An East Perth man (50) was charged with possessing drugs to sell or supply, and unlawful possession of both cash and stolen property.
He was remanded in custody to reappear in court on April 27.
