Man Falls 10m From City Building

A MAN who fell 10m from a Howard Street building was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries early this morning.

A WA Police spokesman said police were advised of an alarm being activated on the street at 2.45am.

“The attending officers conducted a search of the building and located significant damage to glass panels, doors and furniture in several rooms,” the spokesman said.

“Whilst searching the third floor, the police officers identified a man that had climbed out of a window.”

The spokesman said the man appeared to lose his grip and fell 10m to the ground.

“Emergency first aid was provided to the man and an ambulance was called to the scene,” he said.

The man had “multiple serious injuries”.

Police are investigating why the man was inside the building.
