Man wanted over Perth night brawl

A MAN is on the run after allegedly assaulting another man, leaving him with a broken jaw, during a Northbridge brawl early Saturday morning.

A 29-year-old man was walking along James Street when another man, unknown to the victim, started a fight at about 2.10am on October 12.

Police said the victim was struck from behind and the punch knocked him to the footpath.

He received a broken jaw and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

Inquiries are continuing and police have released images of a man they would like to speak to about the incident.
