Man seriously injured in violent Coolbinia car theft

POLICE need help to find three men who brutally injured a man in his Coolbinia home early this morning.

Sometime between midnight and 12:45am, three men entered a home on Armadale Crescent and were confronted by the male occupant.

The offenders assaulted the man and left in his black Mercedes-Benz CLS63.

The 62-year-old victim received serious head and facial injuries and was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

About 1am, police went to Central Avenue in Inglewood after receiving reports of a Mercedes-Benz doing burnouts.

Police located the crashed and abandoned vehicle at the roundabout of Central Avenue and Hamer Parade.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious persons in the vicinity of Armadale Crescent, or anyone who saw the crash or the Mercedes-Benz crash prior to the crash.

Last Wednesday a trio of armed men took a car, a grey Mazda hatchback, from a teenage boy in the same Coolbinia street.
