Menora Bethanie residents step into purple haze for Purple Week

IT was a week of purple themed celebrations at a Menora aged care facility.

Residents and staff at Bethanie got involved in Purple Week from February 19 to 26 with a Purple Service celebration on February 23 followed by purple games and morning tea.

Everyone dressed in the purple for the day.

A Bethanie spokeswoman said the facility had celebrated Purple Week for many years to recognise “its commitment to spiritual whole person care” and the role staff have.

Other events included a purple breakfast barbecue, quizzes about all things purple and purple cake decorating sessions.
