The building, on the corner of Harold Street, will comprise eight two-bedroom apartments, three offices, an eatery, a small shop and 24 parking bays.
Vincent Mayor Alannah MacTiernan said the developer had overcome parking shortfalls by decreasing the size of the restaurant to incorporate the retail outlet.
‘This reduces the parking issue because parking required for a shop is less than it is for an eating house,’ she said.
