Morley police charge man (20) after string of burglaries

A MAN (20) has been charged with eight offences after he was arrested by Morley police on Wednesday .

After several daytime burglaries in Yokine, Joondanna and Tuart Hill earlier this month, Morley police executed a search warrant at a Joondanna property last week.

Morley Police Station Officer-In-Charge Tony Vuleta said most of the burglaries had involved unlocked doors and garages as well as valuables left visible in cars.

Police charged the man with possession of cannabis and methamphetamines, receiving stolen property, fraud, attempted fraud, burglary and stealing.

He was refused bail and will appear in Perth Magistrates Court at a later date.
