MORNING commuters got a free concert in the Perth Cultural Centre on Thursday.

Hundreds of primary school students from schools throughout Perth converged on the steps of the cultural centre under the jumbo screen to take part in Music: Count Us In, Australia’s biggest schools initiative, where students across the country sing the same song, on the same day, at the same time.

Four students, including Stella Kelly, from Perth, wrote this year’s song Let It Play with the program ambassador and mentor.
