Mount Lawley construction site death of 68-year-old man deemed non-suspicious

HOMICIDE Detectives have established that the death of a man at a Mount Lawley worksite last week was not suspicious.

However, they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a 68-year-old man at a construction site at the intersection of Walcott and Learoyd Streets on Thursday, October 11.

The incident was initially reported as an assault.

The man required urgent medical assistance at the time and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance.

A police spokesman said the man died in hospital.

A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
