PERTH College Year 6 students will be co-ordinating mail from Mt Lawley to the North Pole as part of the second Mt Lawley Christmas Festival next Sunday.
There will be customised stationary for people to write their letters to Father Christmas on and a post box for collection.
Perth College has combined its annual fete with the Festival this year and will have about 30 artisan, food and game stalls between Second and Lawley avenues.
Event manager Damien Giudici said the Festival would extend to Lawley Avenue for the first time this year and there would be three-times the number of artisan stalls and food trucks.
The Norfolk pine at St Patrick’s Anglican Church will be lit up with Christmas lights on Sunday night and remain decorated throughout the festive season.
The City of Stirling and Inglewood on Beaufort have contributed funding to the Mt Lawley Christmas Festival that is hosted by St Patrick’s.
