THE Mt Lawley Society will this weekend host its second short film festival.
This year’s festival will feature four finalists that fit the two themes Mount Lawley or Remember When.
Christina Gustavson, from the Society, said local film buffs should get a kick out of additional Perth history clips that will also be screened.

READ NOW“We want to encourage younger people in the community to learn about Mt Lawley history,” she said.
“It is also a chance to showcase local students and film makers.”
The last festival was held in 2016.
The festival will be held on Sunday, April 19 at the Astor Theatre, 659 Beaufort Street from 1pm to 5pm, with films screening form 2pm.
Tickets are $15.80 (plus handling fee) through Ticketek.
The winning film maker will receive a $1000 prize during a presentation after the screenings.
