WOODSIDE’S vast new headquarters in the Perth CBD will be fitted-out by construction giant Multiplex.

The new HQ in the Capital Square precinct comprises more than 60,000sq m of area that will be available to let.

Multiplex secured the contract after its early completion of the base build of Capital Square Tower One for developer AAIG, with which Woodside has entered into an agreement for lease.

The campus-style complex includes a 32-storey building on Mount Street, a 400-seat auditorium and a four-storey office and future gallery on Mounts Bay Road.

Multiplex WA regional managing director Chris Palandri said the company was excited to work with Woodside on “what is set to be one of Perth’s best, and Australia’s leading workplaces”.

The main building of Woodside’s tenanted area recently received a 6-Star Green Star Design rating from the Green Building Council Australia.

The building has been specifically designed to reduce its energy and water uses through features such as a highly efficient airconditioning and lighting solution, natural daylight access and rainwater harvesting system for landscape irrigation.

Work on the Woodside Headquarters fit-out has started and is expected to be completed in the second half of 2018.
