About 60 women aged from 20 to 70 met at Fraser's restaurant this month and learned about mental first aid from a Youth Focus psychologist.

Youth Focus chief executive Jenny Allen said the organisation recognised the important role women played in their families, with young people and their friends.

"It's about educating, creating awareness and giving them the skill sets to help their family and friends and reduce the stigma," Ms Allen said.

We're always looking for ways to engage meaningfully with our supporters and the broader community to share education and positive messages around how we can help our young people.
