NORTH Perth is kicking off the new year in style with Distant Murmurs.
It is the fifth year of RTRFM’s local music festival, with The Rosemount Hotel hosting the likes of Homebrand, Ryan Beno, The Limbs, Ah Trees, Boat Show, New Nausea and more.
The community station has also announced the addition of Luluc to the lineup.
Originally from Melbourne and now based in Brooklyn, the band has toured the world with the likes of The National, Father John Misty, Fleet Foxes and Jose Gonzalez.

It all takes place on Saturday, January 19, from 6.30pm at The Rosemount Hotel in the main room and the 459 bar.
