Northbridge: pair charged after mob allegedly threw items at Brass Monkey Hotel staff

AN angry mob of 15 to 20 people allegedly threw bottles, bins and bricks at staff from the Brass Monkey Hotel in Northbridge about 10.40pm last Wednesday.

Police will allege two people became aggressive and spat at hotel door staff when they were refused entry.

The mob, comprising people known to a pair refused entry, allegedly threatened the staff.

They started throwing items, which struck three hotel staff; they were not seriously injured.

Today, a 26 year old Nollamara man (26) and a Balga boy (14) were charged with offences from incident and are due in court next month.
