UPDATE: The Water Corporation said workers are repairing a damaged manhole cover along St Georges Terrace – not a burst sewerage pipe as initially reported.
St Georges Terrace was closed this afternoon due to the damaged cover.
The street was shut eastbound from Barrack Street to Irwin St, in the CBD.
