“When Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday, bulk deliveries head to offices to have that sort of wow factor to the recipient,” she said.

“There’s a much bigger clientele compared to Valentine’s Day being on a weekend because the impact for some people is enjoyed when it’s in front of people you work with.”

The Little Posy Co. delivers to 200 suburbs across Perth.

Ms Pow said compared to last year’s statistics, they would experience their highest Valentine’s Day delivery rate this year.

“We’re only a few years old as we were founded in 2014, so I’d expect more orders than last year – we still have lots of orders coming through,” she said.

“I’m sure we might get a lot more before tomorrow arrives as boys tend to leave it to the last minute sometimes and take a bit longer to order flowers.

“A lot of couples are placing orders including women for their boyfriends and husbands as well – it’s not just the guys purchasing this year.”
