Perth Ivy League student jailed for one-punch attack

A STUDENT and athlete who was on a scholarship at Princeton University in the US has been jailed over a coward punch attack in Perth.

Joshua Robert Billington, 21, was sentenced in the Perth Magistrates Court to an immediate prison term of nine months.

He was convicted of assault occasioning bodily harm after he punched Mitch Davis, 21, who then hit his head on the pavement in an unprovoked attack last August outside a nightclub in Leederville.
