Perth Library receives more architectural awards

Giovanni TorreEastern Reporter

PERTH’s new library has received even more architectural awards.

Doric Group representatives were present at the most recent Perth Council meeting at which the City acknowledged their work on the exemplary building.

Last month, the library was honoured at the Master Builders Australia Awards as winner of the National Entertainment and Recreation Facility catergory, and at the National Architecture Awards (Australian Institute of Architects) with a Commendation in the Public Architecture Category.

The library received an Honourable Mention in Interior Architecture Projects and in Institutional Projects at the Singapore Architects Awards in October.
