PERTH MP Patrick Gorman is preparing for a chilly night out this Thursday.
Mr Gorman is taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout at the WACA, raising funds for people experiencing homelessness.
Around 9,000 people in WA experience homelessness every night.

READ NOW“What people I’ve been talking to recently have been saying is there’s a real increase in rough sleepers, particularly in the CBD,” Mr Gorman said.
“The issue has gotten close to a crisis point.”
The Perth MP said he would be advocating for a ‘common ground’ facility with accommodation units and support services in the building, along with pursuing WA’s share of national affordable housing agreement funds when he returns to Canberra.
