Perth Petrol Prices Drop Below $1 A Litre

PERTH petrol prices will drop below $1 per litre today for the first time in a year.

The Department of Consumer Protection-run Fuelwatch website is reporting unleaded petrol is being sold for 99.9 cents per litre at two service stations south of Perth.

7-Eleven Rockingham on Dixon Road and United Leda on the corner of Feilman Drive and Gilmore Ave are selling the cheapest petrol in the metropolitan area.

The last time petrol in Perth dropped below the $1 per litre mark was on February 5, 2015.

The cheapest petrol north of the river is being sold at Puma Alexander Heights for 101.2 cents per litre.

In the Hills, seven sites are sharing the cheapest petrol price for that area at 101.9 cents per litre.
