Perth police target suspected synthetic cannabis sellers

PERTH police targeted retailers suspected of selling synthetic cannabis last Wednesday and Thursday after an operation identified several outlets.

On Wednesday, police inspected Off Ya Tree on Hay Street, Perth, and seized 351 packets of what is believed to be synthetic cannabinoids valued at $25,000.

This follows a police-|executed search on June 10 when 250 packets of what is believed to be synthetic cannabinoids valued at $19,000 was seized.

On Thursday, police inspected Off Ya Tree on Barrack Street and seized 70 packets of what is believed to be synthetic cannabinoids valued at $5000.

No charges have been laid at this stage.
