SUMMER may be over, but Perth is set to experience another week of hot weather.
The Bureau of Meteorology’s forecast for the next seven days will have summer-lovers smiling, with the temperature expected to hit 30 degrees at least each day.
Tuesday is shaping up to be the warmest of the days, with a maximum of 34 degrees forecasted, while the early forecast for Sunday, Monday and Wednesday is 33 degrees.
A hot start to March is not unusual for Perth, as maximum temperatures were all above the month’s maximum average from the 1st to the 11th last year.
The warm weather follows Perth’s hottest night in two years last Tuesday, when the mercury stayed around the high 20s for most of the night, before dropping to 26 degrees just after 6am.
