Perth weather: storms predicted for Saturday and Sunday

PERTH is in for a wet weekend, with possible storms predicted on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Bureau of Meteorology has tipped a maximum of 29C today, with some morning cloud clearing to become a mostly sunny afternoon.

But tomorrow is likely to change, with a sunny morning turning to a medium chance of showers and a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening.

The Bureau has predicted a top of 32C.

Saturday night will see a stifling overnight low of 21C.

Perth is in for more showers on Sunday, with a top of 28C and a medium chance of showers and a thunderstorm in the morning.

Monday should see conditions become a bit more calm, with a top of 24 and a partly cloudy day predicted.
