Planet Day all about myth-busting

Staff ReporterEastern Reporter

Planet Video on Beaufort Street is hosting its first Planet Day, which owner Scott Jones says is about reminding people the store is still open after moving from its original home on the corner of Beaufort and Walcott streets.

‘The idea behind the whole thing is to have a bit of fun and also kill the myth that Planet Video has closed due to people seeing the ghost of the old store,’ he said.

‘We are still here and live just next door to the very sad-looking, neglected storefront that we called home for 23 years.’
