The station will be given a room but will need to pay kit out costs.

To cover the expense, in conjunction with Perth Arena another opportunity to enter the Golden Ticket raffle will take place this year.

Over the past two years, the Golden Ticket campaign has kick-started the station’s relocation fund by more than $170,000 and the charity aims to hit the $300,000 target this year.

Radio Lollipop program controller Sarah Pendall said she was excited Perth Arena had once again supported Radio Lollipop.

‘The prize, the Golden Ticket ” it’s amazing, the winner will get a double pass to every show or event at Perth Arena for 12 months, and it’s transferable, so if you don’t like an act you can give the tickets to friends.’

The volunteer said it was easy for her to join Radio Lollipop.

‘My sisters were involved for a long time, and I have been here four years now,’ she said.

‘As a child I had to make a few trips to be in hospital myself, it really isn’t a fun place for kids to be in.’

Ms Pendall said there had been many special moments where they had brightened children’s stays in hospital.

‘I put on a request for one child, and when his song came on he was dancing the whole time,’ she said.

Wacky Wednesday team volunteer DJ’s Julie Lam and Mikki Pagkalinawan love their roles.

‘We make kids laugh,’ Ms Lam said.

‘I’ve always liked the idea of laughter as the best medicine, it’s about giving back ” we are so lucky not to be sick,’ Ms Pagkalinawan said.

Golden Tickets are $10 each and the last one will be sold on September 12.
