Police charge man after he allegedly crashed car into Inglewood business

A 33-year-old Midland man has been charged after he allegedly drove his 4WD through the doors of an Inglewood business yesterday.

About 12.40pm, the man allegedly drove his vehicle over theĀ over the kerb and through the front doors of the building on Beaufort Street, striking the front counter.

Several staff members and a child were in the office at the time of the incident.

The man then allegedly reversed the vehicle out of the building and drove off.

He handed himself in to Police at Midland yesterday afternoon.

He has been charged with endangering the life, health or safety of a person and criminal damage or destruction of property.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on March 2.
