POLICE hit the streets of Perth last Thursday morning with a counter-narcotics operation.
Several officers, a police dog and mounted police worked in and around Perth train station, and in the CBD malls, from 10am until 2pm.
Sergeant Wayne Godwin told the Guardian Express at noon that police dog Tana had already snared two large bags of cannabis, and that officers had gathered information about suppliers in the area.
“It has been a raging success,” he said.
