Perth’s lost boy reunited with parents

UPDATE, 6.07pm: A young boy found alone in Perth has been reunited with his parents.

Earlier WA Police had issued a public plea to identify the boy, who was found by a member of the public about 3.45pm near the intersection of Wellington Street and Barrack Street.

A police statement confirmed the family had been reunited after the parents also reported their son as missing.

POLICE want to identify the parents or carers of a young boy, believed to be about three years old, who was found alone in Perth today.

The boy was found by a member of the public about 3.45pm near the intersection of Wellington Street and Barrack Street.

The person stayed with the boy and contacted police.

Police attended and are looking after the child.

The boy has olive skin and black hair.

He is wearing jeans and a black t-shirt.

The boy’s parents or carers are asked to call police on 131 444.
