Power failure at Perth station affecting eastern trains

Staff WriterEastern Reporter

A POWER failure at Perth station this morning caused delays on the Midland, Armadale and Thornlie lines.

Perth-bound services on those lines were forced to terminate at McIver Station, while services leaving Perth departed from McIver Station.

Commuters headed to the city were advised to get off the train at Claisebrook Station to catch the Yellow CAT bus into town, or disembark at McIver Station and walk to the city.
