Record donations during Hawaiian Giving Box Appeal

Prestige PublishingEastern Reporter

GENEROUS West Australians have donated a record 30,943 meals and 11,689 gifts as part of Hawaiian’s Giving Box Appeal.

The sixth annual appeal helped Foodbank WA and Anglicare WA support local families struggling at Christmas.

Gold giving boxes were placed at seven Hawaiian shopping centres, several office buildings and 16 primary schools, allowing the community to donate non-perishables or cash.
